When Imran Tahir ripped through the Somerset batting in the CB40 final to set Warwickshire up victory it was clear to everyone watching that here was an international class bowler who deserved a chance to prove his worth at the highest level. Tahir has played for countless first class teams including four English counties, three South African franchise and various commercial vehicles used in Pakistan. But he’s never really seems to have settled for one club constantly moving, this isn’t because he has been passed over on the contrary his talents are so much in demand that English counties seemed to have developed a rotational system between them in order to prevent argument.
